GEORGETOWN TWP. — A Jenison man suffered minor injuries in a two-car crash in Georgetown Township on Tuesday morning.

Ottawa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a two-car crash at 7:10 a.m. June 2 on Baldwin Street.

An investigation showed that a 2012 GMC Yukon driven by an 89-year-old Jension man left a parking lot without stopping and pulled into the path of a 2013 Honda CRV. The CRV, driven by a 23-year-old man, struck the Yukon, causing it to roll over.

The driver of the Yukon was trapped in the vehicle and was extracted by Georgetown Fire Rescue. He was then transported to a hospital by Life EMS and is in good condition. The driver of the CRV was treated and released at the scene.
