RAISINVILLE TOWNSHIP

MAY 6,  2020

MINUTES

 

PRESENT: Supervisor Blanchette, Treasurer Meyer, Trustee Woelmer, Trustee Henderson, Clerk Fetterly

The Raisinville Township Board meeting was opened with the Pledge to the American Flag.

MINUTES:  MOTION BY Trustee Henderson SUPPORTED BY Trustee Woelmer, to approve the minutes from the April 7, 2020 Township Board meeting minutes. MOTION CARRIED.

TREASURER REPORT:  MOTION BY Trustee Woelmer SUPPORTED BY Trustee Henderson to approve the treasurer report.  MOTION CARRIED.

BUILDING DEPARTMENT REPORT:  There were 10 permits issued for the month of April there were 2 building permits, 1 electrical, 5 mechanical and 2 plumbing, for a total fee of $1901.00

BILLS: MOTION BY Trustee Henderson, SUPPORTED BY Treasurer Meyer to approve the bills for this month.  MOTION CARRIED.

OLD BUSINESS:      

NEW BUSINESS:  

BLIGHT: Notice was sent out to a house on Stewart for unlicensed cars and junk.

Clean up day was postponed until October 3, 2020

Monroe City Water Department notified us of a 5.1% increase to city water.

Budget workshops are being set up for June 11 & 25 tentatively, an official notice will be published

PLANNING COMMISSION: No Meeting

LMR: Next Meeting May 18, 2020, 7:00 pm.

ZBA No Meeting

CITIZEN COMMENT TIME: No one present

BOARD COMMENT TIME:  Trustee Woelmer asked about Lehr Rd Millings. Clerk Fetterly gave a report on the May 5 election, she also stated that River Raisin Watershed Spring meeting is moved until June 25, 2020. Clerk Fetterly presented to the Board some correspondence on how to start to re-open the Township Hall to the public and what rules need to be enforced.
