Dundee High School Alumni: The Dundee High School Alumni Banquet slated for Aug. 28 has been cancelled, according to an announcement from the Alumni Board. The annual event at Old Mill Museum will return in August 2021.

Dundee Memorial Day Parade: The Village of Dundee's Memorial Day parade has been cancelled.

Frenchtown Firefighters Association: The Frenchtown Firefighters Association has cancelled the Flower Sale that is normally held on Mother's Day Weekend. There is a possibility of holding a flower sale later in the season. The June Gun Raffle has been rescheduled to September; the association had just started to sell tickets when the State of Michigan restrictions took effect and since then they have received permission to postpone the event. Both of these events are major fundraisers for the association, proceeds are used "to help the schools, kids, food pantry, the families that are displaced from a fire, provide meals during the holidays for local school children and other organizations that we assist with the funds raised from these fundraisers." Those who would like to support the association's efforts are asked to watch for updates at www.facebook.com/FrenchtownTownshipFireDepartment.

Humane Society of Monroe County: The Humane Society of Monroe County's Funds for Furry Friends Auction, which was slated for April 4, has been rescheduled to July 18. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. at LaRoy's Hall, 12375 S. Telegraph Rd. Tickets are $60 each, for information, call 734-240-0562 or go to www.monroehumane.com.

Michigan Parkinson Foundation: The Michigan Parkinson Foundation has rescheduled its 2020 Metro Detroit Parkinson's Walk Event for Sept. 12 in Birmingham. For information, go to www.parkinsonsmi.org.

Milan Township Hall: Milan Township offices will be closed until May 18; however, the May 14 township board meeting will take place as scheduled.

New Beginnings Mercy House: New Beginnings Mercy Agency, 3877 Jackman Rd., Ida. is continuing to operate and welcome donations for its work as a Christian Crisis Pregnancy Center. However, visitors are asked to observe the office hours and signs. During open hours, onsite visitors are asked to wait in their cars and honk. The open hours are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays; 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays. Donations of adult and baby food, diapers, baby furniture and children's/women's clothing are welcomed in support of the clients. For information, go to newbeginningsmh.net or call 734- 240-2239.

Roselawn Memorial Day services: The Board of Directors and Staff at Roselawn Memorial Park have cancelled the formal Memorial Day services at the cemetery. "We are concerned about the health and welfare of our staff and the more than 50 people who make this event so special," the announcement said. The gates of the cemetery will remain open to the public from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
