The restaurant at the Monroe Golf & Country Club now is open to the public.
Co-owner Jon Syrocki said the restaurant, which has not yet been named, opened Tuesday for dinner to the public.
Jon and Matt Syrocki purchased the country club at auction for $850,000 and have been working to revitalize the 179-acre property and clubhouse on Cole Rd.
“When we purchased it at auction, we decided there needed to be a change to the business model,” Jon Syrocki said Tuesday.
Private dining has been available to members since July.
New executive chefs were hired, and a new menu was formed.
“Members are loving it,” Jon Syrocki said.
The menu features fresh seafood and seasonal offerings, among other items. About six to eight dishes will be rotated on the menu.
The public restaurant seats 125, while the private dining area seats 49 in the members’ gallery.
Dinner is served from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 4 to 8 p.m. Sundays.
In the coming months, the restaurant will expand to offer longer hours, including a Sunday brunch option.
